Established in 2014, Criterion Audio boasts one of the UK’s finest hi-fi showrooms. Operating from a peaceful location on the north-western edge of Cambridge with easy access from all major routes and ample free parking, the company specialises in 2-channel audio, showcasing a comprehensive range of carefully selected components from the UK and around the world. The store now features 3 luxurious purpose-built listening rooms where visitors can experience some of the finest audio equipment available today in complete comfort.

The Criterion team has over 30 years’ experience in the audio industry, and as a result they can offer unbiased expert advice for those just starting their audio journey through to the experienced audiophile.

In 2019 they began work on an extension to their showroom, into which they built two new no compromise demonstration rooms. Featuring vaulted ceilings and non-parallel walls constructed from sound reducing materials, along with bespoke ventilation/air conditioning and electrical systems, the rooms have been meticulously designed to allow critical comparisons of components to be made in complete comfort.

New for 2020 is an updated company website that better reflects the company’s ethos, which caters for online purchases and in-house product reviews.
